Why have you asked me?
A GP or nurse from your GP practice thinks that you:
- have more than one long-term health condition
- are between 18 and 65 years old.
What happens if I decide to take part?
You will take part in an interview with a researcher by phone, video-call or in person at a time that works for you. It should take about 30-60 minutes.
The researcher will audio-record the interview. Later we will transcribe the interview (write down what you said on the recording) to use in our research.
We will ask you about:
- your experience: the effort you have to put into managing your long-term conditions
- how this affects your daily life
- your interactions with healthcare services, including your GP practice
- what helps and what makes managing your conditions more difficult.
We will keep your information safe and will NOT share your answers with your GP practice. We will prepare reports but no-one will be able to identify you from the information. Your answers will not affect your healthcare.
